Despite his obesity, Wario (Super Mario Bros./Wario Land/WarioWare) can run, jump and perform other impressive athletic feats far beyond a normal human. Abilities that are mostly displayed in the Wario Land series.

Iroh (Avatar: The Last Airbender) was overweight in the first two seasons, but that didn't stop him from being a formidable fighter.
