Capabilities[]

Users of this ability have the traits of a giant slayer, a type of mythological hero who stands out from the rest of humanity in the fact that they actively pursue giants and ogres without fear, often capturing, killing them in great numbers, or even engaging them in direct combat - a feat that is usually impossible to ordinary humans. Such individuals are thus often immortalized in folk tales and legends due to being exceptional warriors, far beyond that of a normal human.

Variations[]

Enhanced Wits: Most giant slayers are exceptional clever and sneaky, able to think fast even in the heat of intense combat.
Enhanced Recovery Speed: Many giant slayers will recover quickly or shrug off injuries in order to keep fast and nimble even in intense combat.

Weakness Detection: Many giant slayers either instinctively know or learn of the weak points their larger opponents have.

Victory Embodiment: Giants are often symbolic of armies, natural disasters or having many enemies, thus a giant-slayer symbolizes great victory against seemingly impossible odds.

Limitations[]

While much clever and more capable of facing off against dangerous opponents many slayers are still mortal, thus must rely on a combination of wit and skill to survive against near-impossible odds.
Transcendent giants are beyond most giant slayer's capability (unless they deploy divine aid or come across transcendent defying technologies / weaponry).
May need some skills/powers to kill some types of giants.
