As an archetype, a lightning angel is an angel who represents the divine power elemental of lightning, electricity, thunder, and storms. Enabling them great powers over this element at near god-like levels as a variation of divine entities themselves.
In Jewish mythology, lightning angels are recognized as the "Hashmallim", and where are the equivalent to the dominations angels, being known for their associations with love, kindness, grace and power.
