The archetype for the characters that possess or have traits of a lumomancer. Variation of Elementalist. Not to be confused with Light Magician. Opposite to Umbramancer.

Also Called[]

  • Light Mage/Magician/Sorcerer/Sorceress
  • Light Witch/Warlock/Wizard
  • Light Summoner/Conjurer
  • Lightmancer
  • The Lumomancer

Properties[]

As an archetype, The Lumomancer or lightmancer is a sorcerer, a sorceress, witch or wizard, or even a supernatural being that represents or has studied the mystic arts and is usually naturally gifted with light/solar magics, or learns them, or even just possesses light/solar-based powers and learns the mystic arts later. These types of magicians are considered very powerful and even rarer in magical circles then most elemental sorcerers. Mostly, these types of sorcerers are always considered good or neutral; however, on rare occasions, this is not always the case.

These types of sorcerers should not be confused with the studiers of the white arts, Light Magicians and Benevolent Sorcerers. Just because the Lumomancer is a steadier of the element of light this does not always guarantee them to be a type of goodly sorcerer, merely an elemental mage.
