The Archetype of a character who is a musketeer.

Properties

Originally, musketeer was designed to refer to someone who wielded a musket. They were a type of soldier that became popular across Europe during the early modern eras. They can also be found in China and India. However the definition has since then shifted to mean a gentleman in one of the two companies of the royal household cavalry in pre-revolutionary France. They rode horses and were proficient fencers. Because musket were clumsy and were difficult to reload, the musket was dropped during this era and the name stuck.
