Users are pseudo-vampires, entities that exhibits part or all of the usual features associated with actual vampires but lack their magical or supernatural origins and strength. The source of their vampirism is scientific or superpowered but not mystical although some mystical elements have occasionally been introduced into them. Unlike real vampires, they are not vulnerable to the traditional weaknesses of vampires, like a wooden stake through the heart and religious symbols.
