The character is a speedster. Variation of One Trick Wonder and Superpowered Physiology.
Also Called[]
- The Fastest Being/Man/Woman Alive
Properties[]
The character is a speedster, possessing an enhanced physiology suited for movement at immense speeds. The cardiovascular and respiratory system of the users are many times more efficient than that of a normal human being. Their brain processing speed will most likely be hundreds of times faster than a normal human's so that they can operate at immense speeds.
The biochemical process of their musculature is also highly enhanced so that their body does not generate fatigue poisons, the normal by-product of physical locomotion, which force the body to rest. The joints are smoother and lubricated more efficiently than those of a normal human being.
For users whose speed is born from their biology as opposed to an empowering force, their bodies are altered and toughened to an insane degree to withstand the colossal forces generated by their immense velocity, such as perhaps possessing either a film or gel-like substance over their eyes to not only allow them to see clearly under the wind velocity, but also protect the sensitive organs from devastating collisions with small objects such as dust or insects, or possessing a cardiovascular system that prevents their blood from piling against the users back and then recoiling out their front like a popped water balloon due to their speed.
There are different levels of this archetype.
Peak Human Level[]
Those at this level have agility, reflexes, and speed at the Peak of Human potential and their durability is marginally stronger like other archetypes due to their speed. Speed-wise, they can run at speeds of 30 mph (48 kph) to 39 mph (62 kph) in short bursts, react quickly enough to evade melee attacks and dodge bullets from a reasonable distance, and possess acrobatic finesse that allows them to maneuver around obstacles and opponents with ease. In terms of offensive capability, a direct punch to the face from someone at this level can be sufficient to render an average, untrained opponent unconscious in an instant. Their striking force is precise, powerful, and efficient, often ending fights before they begin. Agility further distinguishes them from standard fighters. With honed reflexes and situational awareness, they can potentially dodge projectiles like arrows or bullets fired from handguns, provided the distance gives them a moment’s reaction window. This evasive ability is not based on extraordinary speeds but rather on the absolute peak of conditioned reflexes and predictive movement.
Enhanced/Beyond-Peak Human Level[]
Users at this level possess speed, reflexes, and agility beyond mortal limitations. They can move faster than Peak Humans, reaching speeds up to the subsonic or speed of sound, and can react with high precision, allowing them to dodge bullets even at closer ranges. In terms of physical power, they are capable of lifting and hurling objects (in bursts) that fall into the range of moderate vehicle mass - such as motorcycles, small cars, or heavy machinery - demonstrating both exceptional muscular force and control. Their agility is developed to the point that they can evade rapid attacks that would overwhelm even the most agile peak Human. This includes the ability to react to and dodge bullet fire under circumstances where time and perception are compressed through intense training, situational awareness, or slight enhancements beyond normal physiology. This level of speedsters relies on momentum and rapid attacks to keep enemies from landing a decisive blow.
Superhuman/Beyond-Enhanced Level[]
Those in this category are extraordinarily fast and able to move at supersonic, hypersonic, relativistic speeds, or even at or beyond the speed of light. Rather than simply being quick or agile, they move with velocities that range into the supersonic or hypersonic spectrum. Advanced individuals at this level may even attain speeds that rival or surpass the speed of light, transforming them into blur-like presences that can cover entire battlefields in seconds, appear in multiple places at once, or strike before a thought can register in an opponent’s mind. Their reaction times are so advanced that they can perceive and dodge projectiles that move at the speed of sound or faster. Some can move so quickly that they appear as blurs, phantoms, or completely vanish from sight. By accelerating their speed, it enables them to perform strength feats once thought impossible - such as overturning the heaviest vehicles, including trucks, airliners, and even locomotives. In some cases, the most powerful among them can manipulate or destroy entire structures like buildings through brute force alone. This scale of strength is matched by a resilience that allows them to withstand cataclysmic forces, including the shockwaves and heat of massive explosions. Some are capable of enduring events as devastating as atomic detonations or even celestial phenomena like supernovas, depending on the scale of their abilities.
Absolute/Infinite Level[]
At this level, speedsters transcend all conventional limits of motion and perception. They can move at infinite, or even omnipresent speeds, allowing them to be anywhere and everywhere at once. Their reflexes are so heightened that they can dodge attacks that defy logic, including time-based, conceptual, or reality-warping strikes. Some at this level exist in a state of near-intangibility, where their speed makes them almost/completely impossible to hit.

Flaws/Weaknesses[]
- May have an upper limit on how fast the user can move before straining their body.
- Users may have difficulty swiftly stopping their movement.
- Because speed allows mobility and accelerated movement, user's durability are lessen to one hit placed on them.
- Because speed is produced by a build-up of heat in the target's atoms, speedsters are vulnerable to extremely cold temperatures or ice-based powers. It will also temporarily stunt their healing capacities.
- Due to the laws of physics, going at a faster speed makes it harder for them to control their movement on slippery surfaces.
- May suffer severely from the side effects of accelerating to and moving at high velocities if the user does not possess Acceleration Immunity.
- May be negated by Speed Cancellation.
- High-speed movement may be hard to control and adjust to.
- Absolute speedsters can utterly out speed users, unless said users are also absolute speedsters.
- Unless the user has Supernatural/Absolute Stamina, their body will produce toxins faster than normal, giving them a time limit.
- Weak against Speed Theft.
- May be vulnerable against Gravity Manipulation.
- Likely to suffer problems if the user doesn't possess Sensorimotor Synchrony.
- Without a sensory upgrade, the user is unable to hear at the speed of sound or see at light speed.
- Peak Human and Enhanced speedsters may be able to register and dodge them if they charge at them from a fair distance.
