The character is a student council president. The student council is a cabinet that represents the student population. They intermediate between the school faculty and the students and promote citizenship, scholarship, leadership, human relations, and cultural values. The president is in charge or running the council's activities and meetings. They are elected to help the school and students thrive. Depending on the series, the student council president will have exaggerated capabilities. For example, they might have complete control over clubs and club budgeting. They could plan projects that is normally not allowed in real life. If they run the student council for a fictional class of school such as a magic or battle academy, they might possess superhuman qualities. The limits on how much the student council president varies from series to series. They might be a lap dog for the school faculty or on the other end, have absolute control over the school.
