The archetype for the characters that possess or have traits of the Weird Sisters. Variation of Magician and Trinity Force.
Also Called[]
- The Three Sisters
- Trio Sorceresses and Seeresses
Properties[]
As an archetype, the weird sisters are a trio (three) of sister or non-sister sorceresses/witches and sometimes seeresses, or even a supernatural beings or divine origin that represents three beings who have studied the mystic and prophetic arts working together.
These types of magicians are considered powerful, extremely rare, mysterious and highly sought after in magical circles. Mostly, these types of sorceresses are always considered neutral; however, on rare occasions this is not always the case as these beings have offered aid as they are wanted for their knowledge, advice and their powerful visions if they possess the sight, they have also been evil wanting terrible exchanges for their knowledge. The weird sisters archetypes have also just been three witches working together in a coven to achieve their goals be it for good or evil, working as one.
If they are a divine trio they will be a much more powerful version of this archetype able to influence destiny itself and granted higher powers, making them also Triple Deities.
This is solely a feminine archetype/title as there aren’t any known Weird Brothers trio yet to speak of.
