- Certain forms of magic and/or technology may allow their users to control and/or imprison spirits.
- May be vulnerable to any abilities that affect spirits such as a Spirit Barrier or Exorcism.
- Vulnerable to Soul Destruction, Soul Mutilation, Absolute Erasure, Absolute Destruction, and other powers that may harm souls/spirits.
- Time powers may be able to affect only themselves.
- May have limited ability in both the length of time and area they can affect.
- Users of Omnilock, Spatial-Temporal Lock, Spatial-Temporal Transcendence, Temporal Lock, and Temporal Transcendence are immune to this power.
- Astral plane is immune due to timelessness unless user has Astral Plane Lordship.
- Users of Personal time cannot have their personal time manipulated.
