The ability to possess a level of existence that surpasses the Physical Universe.
Capability
With this ability, you can surpass human limits, enter a plane of higher existence, and become a God-like being. When accomplished, the user gain incredible abilities, the most obvious would be an intelligence that surpasses nearly every form of physical life. This would give the user the ability to create technology so advanced that certain lower forms of life would believe it to be of magical nature. For example, a childrens toy built by this said being could be used as a dangerous, and unstoppable weapon by the lower races. Another common ability would be Immortality of course, along with an Etheral Body, and the ability to exist outside of Time and Space.Such creatures would be Angels, Demons, Faeries, Interdimensional Life Forms, Mythic Gods, and other creatures related to Divine Nature.
Forms
- Spiritual Transcendence: A form of Transcendence involving the gain of an Etheral Body. This could be accomplished with the use of spiritual techniques such as meditation or sudden Enlightenment. Users of this form gain the full results as this is considered to be the original/real form of Transcendence.
- Evolutionary Transcendence: A lesser form of the power involving leaving the body and becoming pure Energy through the use of advanced technology or a stage in the evolutionary process. Users who go through this process are far less powerful than the original form.
Nigh-Transcendence
This is the ability to Transcend but not completely. People who have this ability still have incredible powers, but are still tied to the Physical Plane. Although they are not fully ascended, they can still be considered powerful Metahumans as they have unique abilities, traits, and Intelligence.
