- "The orthodox conception was different. God is ineffable, invisible, unspeakable, unknowable. He is the author of the world, not an entity in it. But sometimes it’s useful for an author to have a self-insert character, so to speak. Thus Metatron. Not God. Definitely not God. But slightly less not-God than anything else in Creation. And the things in creation were already rather less not-God than most of them would have expected. So Metatron’s not-God-ness was very low indeed, practically a rounding error."
- ― Description about Metatron (Unsong).
The ability to represent a certain aspect of a certain entity. Combination of Avatar Physiology and Aspect Manifestation.
Also Called[]
- Partial Avatar Physiology
Capabilities[]
The user acts as a physical manifestation of a certain aspect of a certain being. They can draw certain powers and knowledge from the being, depending on the embodied aspect. They could be an avatar of any aspect of them: emotion, power, body part, etc. The user generally has more individuality than a normal avatar, but may be less powerful. They can also gain abilities revolving around the aspect they embody and could even influence their "avatar" by overshadowing corresponding aspects.
This power usually stems from divine/transcendent/cosmic entities who need to enforce their will throughout the cosmos, without utilizing their full power and presence, whether willingly or not. If the "avataree" is a primordial god, or a god that represents creation, the reality, the multiverse, the omniverse, and/or totality, they may also become a full embodiment of their aspect, as well as it's progenitor.
