The ability to cause an astral projection to stay on the astral plane, usually in one specific place.
Capability
The user can banish ghosts or spirits. Can prevent a ghost from manifesting and prevent an astral projector from entering their body, they have the ability to force ghosts on or off their plane of existence. Can sense a possessed individual, or a "devil-in-flesh", and can remove the invader-spirit.
With practice and experience, can summon such spirits in their true form, as physical manifestations, and banish them just as well.
Typically, this power is a bi-product of Magic, or Psionic powers.
Personality
Having an insider knowledge to one of the world's best kept secret truths, the Spirit World, users of Astral manipulation tend to be profoundly wise, and intuitive, but at the same time, operate with a very smart-ass tone to their speech, and run the risk of becoming apathetic to mundane matters. Usually, they work alone, or only with a small team of their most trusted associates, which is not an extensive list by any means.
Because of what they are capable of, users of this power tend to have a level of ominous sycnhronicity, showing up miraculously, in the right places, at just the right times, to save the day.
