The user can utilize the Balanced Arts, a specialized system of techniques based around equalized power. Existence operates by properly maintaining equilibrium between various essences and forms. Whether it is creation and destruction, order and chaos, positive and negative forces or any other dualities, balance ensures a proper state of being. This can be a tenuous system as various factors can tip the scales of reality in one direction or another, leading to existential distortion or disasters. While there can be natural (or supernatural) occurrences to readjust one’s universe, sometimes there must be outside intervention, even in the form of those who train in and/or wield powers related to the concept of balance.
Practitioners can wield various abilities at different levels. On a personal level, one can learn to equalize idiosyncratic or internal aspects like body, mind and soul to enhance physical, mental and spiritual abilities. In extending beyond said body, one can learn to stabilize one’s environment to create a properly functioning area. At the highest levels, one can establish equilibrium throughout the world or even the universe, neutralizing any destabilizing or distorting threat.
