The user is or can use the abilities of beastfolk, a race of anthropomorphic animals. While beastfolk are most often a pre-existing race, sometimes they are former humans (or animals) who are the result of either mutation or isolated evolution.
Unlike various Zoanthropic Physiologies, beastfolk usually do not have an inherent Shapeshifting ability.

- Depending on the evolutionary process in whichever universe or franchise remains ambiguous. One theory claims they were a biproduct of a human/animal unity via magic, supernatural science or other mysterious forces in ancient times. Another theory states they may have been evolutionarily uplifted from non-sapient animal species by scientific, magical or other means since they were never human at all to begin with.
