Capabilities[]

The user either is or can become a calaca, a personification of a departed loved one associated with Mexican folk art and Day of the Dead, taking the form of walking skeletons with painted faces and dressed in equally colorful and extravagant clothing. It’s believed that loved ones would return to the world of the living on Día de los Muertos to partake on festivities with their families and bestow blessings onto them.

Calacas are typically used as artistic representations of said loved ones rather than literal ones, using the imagery of skeletons (i.e. corpses) being depicted as colorful and festive beings to symbolize that the deceased, although no longer in our lives are still happy and enjoying the good things in life (food, music, drink, the company of family and friends that have also passed etc.) but are now simply in a better place.
