The power to use the traits of cassettes/audiotapes. Variation of Device Mimicry. Combination of Redundant Physiology and Object Mimicry.

Also Called[]

  • Audio Cassette Mimicry/Physiology
  • Audiotape Mimicry/Physiology
  • Cassette Player Mimicry/Physiology
  • Magnetic Tape Mimicry/Physiology

Capabilities[]

The user with this ability either is or can transform into a cassette, audiotape or cassette player, an analog magnetic tape for audio recording and playback. Users' transformed form is anatomically identical to their normal form, aside of being made of cassettes, in which case it contains all to organs and is somewhat vulnerable to attacks. Alternately the user can transform into homogeneous matter, without any part of their form being more important than the other.

Limitations[]

  • Sound Immunity is the near-perfect counter, as the user won't be able to use their powers against others.
  • Sound Nullification is another near-perfect counter, as the user won't be able to record or play anything using their powers.
  • Users may not be able to store multiple tapes within themselves, making them limited to using only a couple of their abilities at a time.
  • Tapes could get broken/damaged/lost, leading to the loss of some of their ability applications.
