Users of this ability have the ability to take on the traits of a Cheval Mallet or are one, a Cheval Mallet is a demonic horse from French folklore that appears as either a strikingly beautiful white or black horse to travelers at night and will proceed to abduct their victim, who will never be seen again unless they have a means to ward the spirit off, usually via wearing the medal of St. Benedict.
