  • Clúrachán Physiology
  • Clobhair-ceann Physiology

Capabilities

Users of this power can take on the powers of the Clurichaun (or are one) - this is the drunken, mischief-prone cousin to the Leprechaun and while similar to the legendary sprite they tend to be more goblin-like and haunt wine cellars, often they will torment the owners of these cellars with poltergeist-like activities but can also guard the cellars and were known to be prolific pranksters as well as brutish, capable of beating humans black and blue if they felt the need, with thieves seeming to attract the most wrath from the spirit.

Attempts to escape the Clurichaun via moving was said to be futile as the creature would simply follow the victim to their new home and due to the fact they were almost always depicted as small deformed men with a fondness for excessive drinking and smoking some believed they were the nocturnal form of the Leprechaun, though in many other stories they were firmly placed as unique entities.

In terms of supernatural powers the Clurichaun could turn invisible at will, often induced localized accidents and misfortune, had fierce superhuman strength and an uncanny ability to track people down over large distances - he sometimes carried a magic pouch containing a magic coin that allows returned to said pouch, due to greedy humans often trying to capture him to obtain this coin he would also carry a second pouch with a copper coin, which he would give to his captors instead.

While generally surly or downright violent there was a kinder side to the Clurichaun and he knew secrets about how to brew drink from heather and other plants, which he would share with people if he was in a particularly good mood.
