The power to manipulate cog and gear active micromachines. Sub-power of Mechanical Manipulation. Lesser variation of Nanite Manipulation. Not to be confused with Mechanical Constructs.

Capabilities[]
Users can manipulate micromachines powered via windings springs and servos, a marvel of sandal age engineering. This shows just how innovative and recreational the greatest of the great, ancient geniuses could be as the precursors to human industrial society. Even with the limited technology present at the time of its creation, this showcases what all could be accomplished with later generational implementation of their bettered works down the line.
Cognomite tech doesn't run on the intricate microcomputer systems nor electrical appellation to push the contraption forward. It is, in fact, moved by older, more retroactive design parameters that work using more mechanical or potential-based functionality. They're somewhat cumbersome design makes it difficult for the gear-based micro-tech to function on the microlevel, but their machinations are adaptable to most environs and circumstances they come across. This allows them to adjust and modify themselves to better accommodate whatever situational stimulus they may encounter. To that end, they can modulate themselves based upon whatever new elements they come across in order to surmount them.
While largely independent of workings implemented by a primary operator, cognomites can be commandeered independently of an external means of control via dissimilar methods. Through sonic methods, likely whistles via flute playing and/or body gesturing, they can be programmed into their function design and the like or input utilities that make them subservient to their original creator and whomever they deem designate handlers.
Through these macro-micro machines, users can facilitate them to lean on creating more designs of identical make but greatly improved upon from the prior generational productions manufactured. They can create more and more impressive cognomite designs over the course of time. Each successive design grows more and more elaborate and articulate than the last. Each individual unit uses their pooled know-how in order to further improve upon the rest of the herd's design by passing it along both to their creator alongside their fellow drones. This is, in large part, due to their metallic composition; they also double as anti-mystical bastions. They can be useful against powerful arcane practitioners.
