"None of us stands outside humanity's black collective shadow."
― Carl Jung

The power to be the collective evils of a society/nation. Sub-power of Collective Unconscious. Absolute version of Id Embodiment. Variation of Jungian Archetype Mimicry and Evil Embodiment.

Capabilities[]

Users of this ability are the embodiment of the collective evils of people from a specific society, nation or even the whole world; mimicking the concepts of malevolence, gaining the traits and aspects of an absolute evil or even a devil.

This is the ultimate expression of the Shadow which lives within every living creature, according to Jungian philosophy, just as it is vital for a person to confront one's personal Demons it is vital for a society or nation to confront its Collective Shadow, failure to do so results in atrocities such as dictatorships, discrimination, genocide, war, anarchy and many other social ills.

As an embodiment of such forces, users of this power, by their very nature, are almost always evil creatures, whether by choice or by nature, yet from a dualism stance, even the Collective Shadow has a role to play, for only via being confronted with the ugliest side of ourselves can we, as a society, learn to better oneself.

Like all Jungian archetypes, the Collective Shadow is absolute and eternal; it can never truly be destroyed, and indeed is a fundamental part of existence, without which things would stagnate (however, just like the personal Shadow, failure to control or confront the Collective Shadow can lead to the extinction of a people, due to their destructive impulses.).
