The power to repel photons effortlessly with the mind, and send forth darkness. Also known as Shadow Manipulation, Umbrakinesis or Necromancy.
Capability
The user can control shadows. One can even deactivate and/or repulse photons or travel through shadows, by converting deactivated photons into a dark version of a portal. Can surround foes in pitch black clouds of light-less space, turn deactivated photons into constructs, or shoot bolts of solid darkness at foes.

- Usually accompanies Intangibility by phasing through shadow.
Limits
- Manipulating the darkness can ultimately push the user to the brink of becoming an entity of evil/insanity/possession.
