- Immortal Prime Form
- Natural Immortality
Capabilities[]
The user matures at a standard human rate, growing through childhood and adolescence until they are reaching physical and mental maturity. At this point, the aging process stops or slows dramatically, granting the appearance of agelessness and the potential for an indefinite lifespan. While the user doesn’t age further, they still remain vulnerable to harm like getting fatally injured, diseased, or otherwise critically compromised, they can still die.
This power grants the user an enduring youthful form, often immune to the typical signs of aging like wrinkles, hair graying, and frailty. Their body sustains itself in peak physical condition, effectively warding off many degenerative conditions and increasing their resistance to common diseases. However, they remain susceptible to powerful or rare illnesses, poisons, and other extreme threats. While they’re not invulnerable, their unique biology allows them to live free from the burdens of aging, giving them an extended lease on life without the typical limitations of mortality.
A variation of delayed immortality could slow aging drastically rather than halt it, enabling the user to experience time differently from others, aging at a fraction of a typical human rate while still undergoing gradual change. This kind of immortality creates a unique balance: the user can live forever yet tethered to the same dangers of the mortal world.
