Capabilities

The user is able to crystallize carbon materials, such as coal, into diamonds. In fiction, some characters are strong enough to convert coal into diamond with physical power, a feat that demands harsh amounts of pressure, up to 105 atmospheres of pressure, if the story follows the real world's laws of physics. It can also be accomplished through other methods such as molecular transmutation or mystical techniques like magic. The carbonaceous material becomes enhanced through this process.

Limitations

• If not careful, user can accidentally break the pressurized diamond.
• Without Enhanced/Supernatural Durability, user can accidentally cut themselves with carbon's sharpness.
• Diamond conversion may be permanent and/or imperfect.
• User will need coal or carbon sources like it to make the power possible.

Note

• Although seems to look like Slade could smash a coal ore into a diamond, it doesn't look like a real coal ore, considerating the "ore" color, which looked more like brown (probably dirt) than black (a coal color), or even that most of the "coal ore" desintegrated while Slade smashed the material into a diamond, making impossible to be correct if Slade really converted the material into diamond.
