Capabilities

The user can utilize the Distortion Arts, a specialized system of techniques based around contortive power. Distortions alter the fundamental aspects of targets, twisting them out of their original forms or states-of-being. The alterations run the gamut from being slight to significant, temporary to permanent; furthermore, they can contort a variety of things from solid matter like entities and materials, to physiological features like sensory information, body shape and thought processes, to conceptual phenomena like time, space or the very fabric of reality. Learning techniques related to distortion affords practitioners specialized advantages against various targets. In a martial sense, it allows one to perform uniquely destructive attacks or warping skills that can protect one from enemy assault. It can allow one to augment physical features like size and shape. Potentially, one could even distort the nature of existence according to one’s desires.
