The ability to jump without the aid of a physical surface. Not to be confused with flight or levitation.
Capabilities
The user uses their own inertia to create a vortex around them-self that substitutes a physical body to propel themselves off.
Limitations
Once the initial vortex has been created, the user cannot generate enough inertia to make another jump until they reach the ground or another tangible surface.
Usages
- Reaching hard to reach ledges.
- Jumping large gaps.
In games
In some games the player is either gifted already with the ability to double jump or must be using an item to do so.
