Capabilities[]

User with this ability either is or can transform into a superpowered dragon, a rare breed of dragons with an innate connection to supernatural powers. These dragons can develop powers and abilities that aren’t gained from birth or have abilities beyond the limitations of their race/species and are much stronger and intelligent and several times more powerful than a normal one regular races. much like how a metahuman would be to a normal human. For instance, these dragons can defend themselves much better and be able to defeat threats that regular dragons wouldn't be capable of doing so on their own. Moreover, there can also be some instances of superpowered dragons within sub-races.

For a dragon to become a meta-dragon, they have to gain powers/abilities through enchantment, genetic engineering, evolution, birth, etc Like super dragon, super dragons can be divided into two categories:

Rational

Meta-Dragons of this category gain their powers via evolution, birth, genetic engineering, or exposure to radiation or biohazardous substances, like mutagens, or any other methods that involve genetic experimentation in that regard.

In one way or another, certain Meta-Dragons that are of this classification will have minor physical changes, like their irises changing to any color like a fiery shade of red, yellow, purple, etc., retractable claws or spikes, the color of the skin being changed, among others. In fact, these kinds of Super Dragons will be able to possess powers without their physiology being altered.

Irrational

Non-scientific meta-dragons gain their powers by being given them, enchantment, blessing, granted wishes, etc., without bioengineering based alternatives. Unlike scientific-based meta-dragons this category of super dragons wouldn't have to be able to suffer mutations and instability of their DNA, which can be caused in a certain specific way. Unlike rational based meta-dragons, they are more likely to maintain their respective physiology because they don't share the same genetic unpredictably that rational-based neo dragons are more likely to have.
