Capabilities

Users, either innately or through training, are masters of wielding a dual tessen, weaponized Japanese hand fans designed for use in warfare. They are known as a whole as Japanese war fans and are split into several variants, like the gunsen and gunbai, with the main type being the tessen, thus users' proficiency might also extend to them. Unlike normal handheld fans, Japanese war fans' sole purpose is for combat, and are usually made of harder materials, like metal.

Users would be incredibly skilled in a special style of combat similar to kenjutsu known as tessenjutsu, being able to take on multiple aggressors at once, expertly defending from incoming physical attacks, and dominating in overall melee combat. They also possess greater capabilities in a tessen, like being able to divert air around it to generate huge gusts or winds or slice/slash extremely precisely.
