- ― Captain Man's signature catchphrase (Henry Danger)
- "Dr. ███: But it was taking damage?
- "Capt. █████████: If it was, it wasn't showing it. It must have lost all its organs, all its blood, but it didn't acknowledge any of it. Its bone structure wasn't hurt at all, though. It kept tearing my squad apart."
- ― Capt. █████████ while dealing with SCP-096 - The "Shy Guy" (SCP Foundation)
The power to be completely immune to all forms of physical harm on any/all levels. Perfect/Absolute version of Enhanced Durability. Not to be confused with Injury Immunity or Immortality, although some users are the latter.
Also Called[]
- Damage Immunity/Defiance/Ignoring/Ignorance
- Impenetrable/Impregnable/Impervious/Invulnerable/Indestructible/Invincible Body
- Imperviousness/Indestructibility/Invincibility/Unbreakability
- Physical Indestructibility/Imperviousness/Invincibility/Immunity
- Unaffected Body
- Perfected Durability
- Absolute Durability
Capabilities[]
The user possesses complete invulnerability to all forms of physical damage or harm, encompassing any and all damage types or magnitudes with being incapable of experiencing physical pain. The user is also resistant to all forms of Damage Manipulation and Disease Manipulation targeting physical integrity, including but not limited to injury, bleeding, limb loss, infections and possible illnesses. Invulnerability is infinitely superior to the highest levels of Supernatural Durability. It is also absolutely immune to all physical harm/damage, and can tank any finite or infinitely powerful physical attack with zero damage.
Applications[]
- Immunity to all physical harm/damage.
- Invulnerability-Based Strength - Possess increased strength based on one's invulnerability.
- Juggernaut Momentum - Possible
- Limited Supernatural Survivability
- Self-Sustenance - The user is immune to the harmful effects caused by the deprivation of physical necessities such as food, water, sleep, respiration, etc.
- Supernatural Stamina - Possess immunity to overexertion.
Techniques[]
- Immobile - Resist outside forces that moves the user.
- Invulnerability Empowerment - Be empowered by one's invulnerability.
Variations[]
- Conditional Invulnerability - Being invulnerable under certain conditions.
- External/Internal Invulnerability
- Damage Negation - Negate damage the user may receive.
- Density Manipulation - Increasing one's density to make it much harder and more difficult to be harmed.
- Density Infinitum - Exponentially scaling ones density.
- Impact Absorption - Absorb mechanical and physical impacts.
- Indivisibility - Never be physically divided.
- Intangibility - Becoming intangible to allow all offensive attacks to phase through.
- Reactive Invulnerability - A form of invulnerability that only works if the user is in danger.
- Strength-Based Invulnerability - Gaining invulnerability from one’s physical strength.
- Unbreakable Body Parts - Possessing indestructible body parts.
Levels[]
- Reliant Invulnerability
- Invulnerability
- Dual Impregnability
- Nigh-Absolute Invulnerability
- Absolute Invulnerability
Associations[]
- Alien Physiology
- Defense Powers
- Indestructible Object Creation
- Immutability
- Physical Force Immunity
- Superior Human Physiology
- Self-Molecular Manipulation
- Transcendent Physiology
Limitations[]
- Only protects against physical effects (damage/harm/alteration) and not non-physical (like telepathic and soul-based abilities).
- May not mean immortality unless otherwise bestowed; thus, user may still be vulnerable to aging and aging-based abilities.
- May be vulnerable to toughness-altering abilities such as Fortitude Weakening, Density Manipulation or even Carbon Manipulation.
- Users of Absolute Attack can inflict damage.
- Weak against users of Absolute Strength and Invulnerability Negation/Bypassing.
- Unless combined to resist/negate it (Immobility, Pushback Resistance), user can be thrown around by attacks.
- May be vulnerable to certain conditions, substances or simply have a location on their body that is vulnerable to damage.
- Some users have limited bodily coverage.
- May only protect against external attacks, so internal attacks, such as Internal Rupturing, Dehydration, and Deoxygenation, may be able bypass this ability.
- May still be affected by Death Inducement.
- Since the user's muscle fibers are invulnerable, it is impossible for them to tear them to improve them.
- Same can be said for their skeletal structure.
