The ability to manipulate elastic energy. Variation of Energy Manipulation and Potential Energy Manipulation.
Also Called[]
- Elastic Energy Control
- Elastic Ergokinesis
Capabilities[]
The user can create, shape and manipulate the elastic energy, i.e., the energy stored in elastic materials (like rubber) or bodies (like springs) that undergo deformation, typically in the form of compression or stretching. The deformation causes the energy to be stored within the material. The greater the amount of stretchiness, compressibility or plasticity of the material, the greater the amount of stored elastic energy. Once relieved of its deformation, the material returns to its original state of equilibrium.

Limitations[]
- There is a limit to a material's stretchiness or compressibility.
- Pushed beyond its limits, a material or body may be unable to return to its state of equilibrium, becoming permanently deformed or even broken.
- May be limited to energy within user's body.
- May require outside force to initiate stretching or compression.
