The user can utilize the Familiar Arts, a specialized system of techniques based around supernaturally supportive power. Familiars, entities like spirits, souls or demons, that usually take animal form, serve as assistants to their respective partners. They are often bound through a supernatural contract, becoming assistants to their masters. Though this type of relationship is usually associated with practices like magic and witchcraft, it can also be associated with spiritual, mystical, demonic, and other such skill sets.
Normally, the entity works to assist their owner with simple tasks like spying or gathering supplies for certain operations; however, with special training, users can unleash potent techniques involving their familiars. They can use them as personal guards for both offense and defense. They can enhance the creatures, granting them even more potent abilities. They could create a symbiotic link with them, sensing what they sense or even physically bonding with them. Potentially, they could even take on a multitude of beings to serve as their familiars. Through proper study, one learns the strength of the master-servant relationship.
