The City of Stars (DC/Vertigo) is a transcendent universal realm that exists above the real, beyond both far realms and actuality. A place were even immense, ancient beings like The Endless are the same as mere mortals and a regular resident of City can influence all levels and realms of creation at the same time as easy as breathing.
Pralaya (DC Comics) controls and exists within the ultimate transcendent realm known as the Sea of Brahman, which is the highest cosmology of all, as absolutely everything from the expanse of the "Overvoid" down to even "The Presence" itself all originated from her realm.
The Sea of Brahman (DC Comics) exists simultaneously as both an endless void and an impossible realm that cannot be understood, let alone glimpsed until the Sleep of Brahma comes when it reclaims creation.

After getting bored with running the Great Library, Adam (Yamibou) left it by creating a higher, hyper cosmology outside of the totality that the Library represents. Though this is considered truly impossible as the Library has no outside as its always defined by being beyond all things and thus cannot be exited or left.
