- May take time to prepare the food.
- The food needs to be consumed in order for the healing process to take effect.
- Depending on how serious the wound/disease is, the food has to be prepared with the finest qualities. As in, to heal/cure more lethal wounds/diseases, the more quality of the ingredients has to be used for the food to treat them.
- Might only work for the user or only for those who eaten the user's food.
- May not provide nutritional nourishment.
- May not fill up their stomach.
- If someone is medically/biological incapable of eating, or at least does not have a mouth, might need to find some way to consume the food.
