They utilize the force's abilities to emulate and/or empower the user's mental abilities while they normally don't possess such powers. Unlike Psychic Force Manipulation, the force the user is controlling doesn’t have to be psychic in nature, thus leaving them room to be unaffected by anti-psychic powers.
