Capabilities
User with this ability either is or can transform into a Gashadokuro, a giant skeleton yokai fifteen times taller than a human. They only have upper half of the body and sometimes are pictured being surrounded with aura. Their name literally means "rattling skeleton" or "giant skeleton". Bodies of Gashadokuro are believed to be made of bones of people who died of starvation or in war. They are said to possess the powers of invisibility and indestructibility; though Shinto charms are said to ward them off.
Some users are able to transform into Gashadokuro partially, meaning that they for example "immerse" their hand into ground or wall and let appear their transformed limb only.

- User may be unable to move from his place while transformed.
- User may be able to transform only when in contact with ground.
- Being closely linked to starvation, user may be constantly hungry even in their human form.
- Users of Onmyōdō or other Shinto magic may defeat them.
