The power to fly using gravity. Sub-power of Gravity Manipulation.
Also Called[]
- Gravitational/Gravity/Tensor Flight
Capabilities[]
Users can fly, glide or levitate through manipulation of gravity. This can be achieved by gathering gravitational energies as a propulsion system, decreasing their gravitational pull/weight, and pulling their mass through the air while simultaneously repelling gravity. They can fly at varying speeds or propel themselves without taking flight, including through enhanced jumps, scaling and sliding across surfaces, etc.
Applications[]
- Dashing/Air Dashing
- Enhanced/Supernatural Leap
- Flight/Levitation
- Gliding/Enhanced Gliding
- Sliding/Sliding Dash
- Surface Hanging/Hyper Hanging
Techniques[]
Variations[]
Associations[]
- Gravitational Shield Construction
- Gravity Defiance
- Gravity Manipulation
- Gravity Negation
- Orbital Field
- Personal Gravity
Limitations[]
- Weak against Flight Negation.
- Users of Gravity Manipulation and Weight Manipulation can negate the users flying capabilities.

Gallery[]
Kal-El/Clark Kent/Superman (DC Comics) can manipulate his own gravitational field, and control graviton particles to be able to fly and defy the forces of gravity and take flight.
Kal-El/Clark Kent/Superman (DC Extended Universe) can fly by manipulating his own gravitational field, taking advantage of Earth's weaker gravity to propel himself through the sky and even beyond the planet's atmosphere. By mastering this technique, Superman can fly at hypersonic speeds that allow him to circle the globe in an instant.
Gravity Shifters (Gravity Rush series) are able to fly by controlling their personal gravity and "falling" in the desired direction.
The Guyver Units' (Guyver) Gravity Controller siphons gravitational energy from another dimension, allowing them to fly.
Thanks to the gigantic amount of Gravity Dust Crystals on its back, Monstra (RWBY) is able to levitate and carry Salem and her subordinates.
