"I'll be no more of a monster than your own daughter. The only difference is that while she can barely recognize her own spiritual power, I will be in complete alignment with mine. Vaatu and I will be as one. No one will be able to stand against us." - ― Tonraq and Unalaq (Avatar Legend of Korra)
- "These people tried to raise you without family or friends or love. But you couldn't get along without those things, could you?"

- ― Charles Xavier to Cameron Hodge (Marvel Comics)
- "That cop almost killed me. I thought you said I'd be indestructible."
"I said almost indestructible. After all, you're still human."
"Than make me less human."
"I'm... I'm not sure what you mean."
"I mean what I said. Now get to work!" - ― Hammerhead and an Oscorp scientist (Marvel's Spider-Man)
- "When the guilt gets too bad, we switch off our humanity… and we revel in it."
- ― Damon to Alaric (The Vampire Diaries)
- "Being human means nothing!"
- ― Moltor (Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive)
