Capabilities

The user is completely aware at all times of the true reality around them, potentially seeing through environmental, sensory and/or mental illusions that others attempt to deceive them with. Alternatively, this can also allow a user to percieve and potentially interact with the illusions experienced by others, including ones they’ve created, and even enter and experience the illusions themselves without losing touch with reality.

Limitations

• Users may not be able to see through an Absolute Illusion.
• Users will find that being aware of a True Illusion will be the least of their problems.
• May not always work if the means of being able to detect an illusion are cut off.
• Illusions that show something more personal for the user can affect their ability to see through it unless they can emotionally endure it.
• May not even be aware that somebody is trying to place them under an illusion.

The Kanohi Rode (Bionicle) allows its user to see through any lie or illusion.

Kenpachi Azashiro (Bleach: Spirits Are Forever With You) was noted to be immune to even Aizen's "Complete Hypnosis" via his ability to fuse with anything.

Lens of Truth (Legend of Zelda)

The Sharingan (Naruto) allows the user to see through illusions, though it is dependent on the skill of the user in question.

Itachi Uchiha (Naruto) uses his Demonic Illusion: Mirror Heaven and Earth Change to manipulate Kurenai's sensory distortion, turning it back on her.

Karin (Naruto) can detect whether one is trapped in an illusion through her Mind's Eye of the Kagura.

In order to fight Itachi, Deidara (Naruto) trained his left eye to see through, and counter Genjutsu illusions.

Sakura Haruno (Naruto), due to her high intellect and incredible willpower, is able to break out of Genjutsu-induced illusions.

Aburame Clan's insects (Naruto) cannot be affected by Genjutsu because their brain structures are not sophisticated enough.

Guardians (Destiny) with Deepsight abilities can see through even the strongest of illusions.
