- The user can resurrect endlessly, however their resurrection can still be manipulated.
- The user is still be able to be injured normally and can still become ill, they are only healed and restored perfectly upon death.
- Users of Absolute Character Erasure/Absolute Erasure can permanently erase the user and prevent them from ever resurrecting.
- Users of Unavertable Death and Resurrection Negation can make the death permanent.

- Depending on the cosmology, this may be seen as a cursed state that eternally separates an individual from a universal salvation / truth.
- May cause some individuals to go insane due to the trauma of continually returning to life, especially when the world begins to change dramatically over time (loved ones dying, entire civilizations coming and going, etc).

As long as Phantom (Marchen Awakens Romance) has the Zombie Tattoo, he will always return from the dead.
Morgan le Fay (Marvel Comics) has been 'killed' more times and in more varied ways than any other villain in the Marvel Universe. Despite this, she has survived each and every single time, most often appearing seconds later after her 'death' seemingly unharmed.
Phoenix (Valkyrie Crusade) will always be reborn, each time with a different personality.
After destroying his clock and absorbing its magic, Caliborn (Homestuck) achieved unconditional immortality, in which he would resurrect regardless of his death being heroic or just, and like all god tiers, both his body and soul can come back from destruction.
While his physical bodies can be destroyed, Sephiroth's (Compilation of Final Fantasy VII) will and consciousness live on within the Lifestream as a kind of poison, allowing him to endlessly resurrect himself.
