The power to have an ignition system built into one's arms. Variation of Ersatz Body Part and Engine Protrusion.
Also Called[]
- Jet Arm
- Rocket Booster Limbs
- Thrust Fists
Capabilities[]
The user has an ignition system built into one's own arms that can emit energy for high speed momentum, from movement to punching. May be propelled by jets (which mix air with fuel for more efficiency), rockets (which do not and therefore can be used in absence of air), or an alternate propulsion method.
Applications[]
- Beam Emission
- Energy Generation
- Explosion Inducement
- Jet Propulsion
- Lateral Repulsion
- Megaton Punch
- Projectile Body
- Propulsive Strike
- Trajectory Curving
Associations[]
- Bionic Physiology
- Fire Manipulation
- Heat Energy Manipulation
- Technology Imitation
- Technorganic Physiology

Limitations[]
- Without protection, user runs risk of serious injury.
- Steering is difficult.
- Does not protect against natural flight rigors.
- Hampered by heavy recoil.
Gallery[]
Katsuki Bakugo (My Hero Academia) can produce explosions from his arms to both propel himself and attack.
Nero's (Devil May Cry 5) Punch Line Devil Breaker possesses a powerful jet propulsion system, packing incredible destructive force behind each blow.
Hotspot (Teen Titans series/DC Comics) can use his thermal projection to jettison himself through the air at high speed.
Using Eco Rocket Jump, Jak (Jak and Daxter series) propels himself upwards using Yellow Eco jets from his hands.
Samuel Guthrie/Cannonball (Marvel Comics) had a thermokinetic blast field which made him unstoppable while in motion.
Timothy (Marvel Comics) had the mutant power of blast exhaust valves which he used for rocket ignition.
