- Limit breaks can only be used when said conditions are met.
Dante (Devil May Cry) can only activate his Devil Trigger after storing enough demonic power.
Alex Mercer (Prototype) can only use his Devastator attacks when he has an excessive amount of biomass or when he is at critical health.
When Kamen Rider Fourze, Meteor, and Nadeshiko weaken a enemy they perform a limit break.
Inuyasha (InuYasha) can only use his Backlash Wave technique when his opponent uses a projectile attack and possesses a strong demonic aura.
Sora's (Kingdom Hearts) Limit Form revolves around performing special Limit Break attacks, hence its name.
