The power to manipulate mass. Sub-power of Matter Manipulation. Variation of Quantity Manipulation. Not to be confused with Weight Manipulation.
Also Called[]
- Mass Control
Capabilities[]
Users can manipulate mass, the amount of matter in a physical body, either of themselves or other people or objects. By doing so, they can freely dictate the force (F = ma), weight (W = mg), density (ρ = m/v), kinetic energy (KE = 1/2 mv2), and gravitational potential energy (GPE = mgh) of bodies by increasing or decreasing mass to achieve the desired effect.
Applications[]
- Mass Absorption
- Mass Attacks
- Mass Conservation Defiance
- Mass Conversion
- Mass Defiance
- Mass-Energy Manipulation
- Mass Flight
- Mass Magnification
- Mass Reduction
- Mass Regeneration
- Mass Transference
- Rotational Mass Manipulation
- Selective Heaviness
- Selective Inertia
- Selective Lightness
Techniques[]
- Density Manipulation
- Inertia Manipulation
- Mass Amplifying Replication
- Mass Combat
- Mass Defense
- Mass-Telekinesis
- Weight Manipulation
Variations[]
Associations[]
Limitations[]
- May be limited to manipulating the mass of themselves.
- May be limited to only increasing or decreasing mass.
- One has to be careful when increasing their mass too much to avoid becoming immobile.

Gallery[]
Thom Kallor/Starman (DC Comics) can temporarily alter the mass and density of any object or person by generally borrowing extra mass from nearby stars.
Through her magic - Command T, Brandish (Fairy Tail) can alter the mass and proportions of anyone or anything.
Harry Leland (Marvel Comics) possessed the ability to increase the mass of an object or person within 350 feet of him.
