Hey there! I absolutely love these new pages that you're putting on the site!
I just have one small request— could you please put the "History" sections underneath the Capabilities, Applications, and Associations/Variations etc. from now on? On most pages that have additional sections, the "Trivia" is generally located beneath Limitations and I think that it's a format we should keep. (→See Electricity Manipulation for an example of this)
Oh ok yeah no problem, I didn’t even think about that. I’m glad you like them that makes me happy 😊.. I’ve got some more coming. Do you want me to move the current ones I’ve done as well or just the from now on?
Your text in History and this line up almost perfectly, making it very clear that this is copy/pasted. While this text is hosted on wikipedia for free, this is still plagiarism! If you intend to make use of text from Wikipedia, you should make yourself familiar with the copyright policy they use:
If you copy text from Wikipedia, you must be sure to attribute the original page/it's authors, and to make it clear that these are not your own words. To do otherwise is plagiarism. Your attribution should include a direct link to the page you copied from.
also can I point out a concern? namely that wikipedia isn't always correct so directly copying it can be a dangerous practice regardless of plagiarism itself - best to research subject as much as possible via as many different sites as you can, not just wikipedia.. it can lead to some misinfo / over-simplification.. especially with topics as vast and complex as theology.
(not saying I don't rely on wikipedia a lot too, we all do - just be wary of only using wikipedia for these things)
Yes I did copy and paste the history sections for the most part so people would know where they came from to help explain them better but plagiarism wasn't my goal here at all, and I did try and put as names as I could find that where they were available. I was only trying to bring more light on to the powers I put together from those gathered history's. If I missed some names in there it wasn't for malicious or stealing reasons as the information I got it from is free and I wasn't aware taking that was plagiarism.. so sorry for unknowingly breaking the rules. I can review my work further to see what I missed and put the names in you need and the links you want. But I promise I didn't leave anything out on purpose. To be honest I usually put links on my pages but I felt people never paid attention to go to them and read them, so I thought this way would be easier and more helpful.
It's fine, I didn't think you were doing it maliciously, but plagiarism is one of those things we do have to be hard on.
To fix this, you should be able to just link to the page you got the text from and mention that it was copied from there. In the future I'd like to get a template for such a thing, but for now an in-line notice should be fine.
I also do gather information from other sites as well or from books on the subject if I have them, which on the angels I currently don't have, but many of those sites go back around to pulled info from wikipedia.
There were more gods of wealth then there were gods of poverty, but there were a couple Asian deities of poverty that I’m aware of. I’ve got a wealth Deity in the making. Lol.. I swear you’re reading my mind sometimes 😂
Masculinity and femininity would be covered under Sex deity physiology as well as fertility deity physiology, if it’s under both of those categories. And beauty could have its on the Deity page as memory serves correct that some gods and goddesses of beauty were not gods sex and love.
That is actually where justice deity Physiology would come in. In ancient myths they never strictly had deities of law it was always justice, law and order, or law and order. So I just went ahead and did the theme of three On Justice Deity.
and Toilet Deity i am sorry is that a real thing i mean i mean no disrespect but really come on i am trying not to laugh thinking their is goddess that work toilets i guess when it clogged i can say Goddess damn it lol
they are a real thing and they date back to when toilets were dangerous places that people often ran risk of injury or death, as well as associated health hazards.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toilet_god
everything imaginable had a deity associated with it, toilet gods were a specialized version of the household guardian - when outsiders became aware of these beings they used it to mock the idea of polytheism, hence they created even more ridiculous deities such as "god of flatulence" etc but these were mockery.
Toilet deity was not mine Lol... and unfortunately yes lol.. there was pretty much a Deity for anything and everything back in the day. Which is funny you say that because every time I toilet acts up now I fully plan shaking my fist at it and saying goddamnit 😂
It also takes new meaning to paying homage to the porcelain god 😂... or maybe it’s always meant that.. 🤔
And as for ANIMAL deities from my understanding is a reference for those that were either a divine animal or half animal half human looking. Those like the goddess Artemis would not be an animal deity because she did not possess any animal like physiology‘s, she could control animals yes but she was not part ANIMAL.
I was coming to you, in terms of being something of interest for you and I that I'm particularly giddy about: The making of a page about Dark God Physiology. It's not Darkness Deity, I'm sure you have plans for it, I'm talking something I took note in fiction that appears consistently in stories involving mythological figures or deities, it is about Deities that are malignant in nature, like a dark reflection of godhood.
I'm sure with your expertise, I hope you can help me.
Destruction in the Calamity sense most of all. Ruin. Also War, oddly enough. I'm sure deities associated with the aforementioned concepts were sometimes portrayed as dark gods, even when not necessarily so accurately.
Hey so I just created Evil Deity Physiology and Plague Deity Physiology, when you make Dark God Physiology you should have a Types section on it with different kinds of Dark Gods like these two, and also add Destroyer Deity Physiology. We can make more Dark Gods and have them all linked to your page.
Interesting, the Dark God Physiology can be the umbrella to all of those. Have to look after of the commonalities between them to apply to the app section, but also make it different more in name to Evil Deity. For now I'll search for users in fiction, when is up can you put all to mythological deities fitting the power?
Hey friend under Wealth Deity Physiology I see a mistake I did.. clearly a brain fart on my part where it says mental manipulation will you change that to metal manipulation for me? I’m going to be away from my laptop for a few hours.
Also how do you feel about supreme deity physiology? I was having a bit of trouble with it trying to not make it reflect divine Lord physiology too much but I’m not sure if I nailed it. I’ve been wanting to make that one for quite a while but I wasn’t sure with that in mind if you stick dirty out there that it would be like third wheel. I just wanted someone else’s input
To be fair, Supreme Deity and Divine Lord are similar in the sense they are... the same in functionality. They clasify as Top Dogs in their cosmology, whereas a Divine Lord possesses authority within their respective pantheon, just goes as far to denote it is more powerful than the common deity which offers leeway. Supreme Deity is the same, just one difference, they are the leader, the top of tops, Kronos and Gaia (in some fictional stories) qualify as that in sense of how they are sometimes presented as the boss.
You should differenciate those to make page its own thing, maybe an advanced variation of Divine Lord I guess.
Yeah I was kind of seeing that myself after the fact.. I definitely don’t want to of the same thing with two different names essentially. I’m just having kind of a blocked moment with it. If you can see a clear picture your more then welcome to go ahead and edit on it if you want. If you have the time. Because I definitely won’t be able to until much later.
I appreciate that very much. Sometimes things like this need a fresh set of eyes. Especially since I’ve had this one sitting on my computer for about 2 1/2 weeks and didn’t even see that it was too similar to divine lord physiology LOL.
Yes thank I do like the updates, I feel it makes more sense. I noticed the MorningStar person didn’t like my choice of Zeus or deities that I listed it under lol.. but they are all considered supreme deities and divine lords that’s the touchy part. Which is why I also chose Zeus Jupiter as the main picture especially his Jupiter aspect is 100% considered a supreme deity. I almost put Shiva in there instead but I do have a tendency to favor the Greoc-Roman deities.
Hey thanks! :-) I really appreciate that. Thats was one of my biggest goals on here actually, with the pages that I have great interest in lol. And I was getting tired of puzzling together information on the Deity pages without a proper starting page for them to have like what I've been making. I've only made a few and I noticed a few others stepping up as well which is great. I've also got more ideas coming. :-D
Actually, this is documented wrongly. Besides, I have it ready in to be eventually put onto this wiki myself. Why that is, is because of the information itself. A Trinity God, is, to put it basically, three subjects as one true god, and that's about it. To prove that I have this already planned to be on the wiki, here it is already prepared. If you think this is all a misunderstanding and a coincidence, it'll be best to rehash in writing the article so it won't be confusing to the readers, especially the names.
Actually mine is much more on the noise then yours is and by the type of Deity in mythos, which is called a Triple Deity only secondly known or called a Trinity God lol. Your's is just a different version to Monotheistic Deity Physiology from how it reads. I also had no clue your was even out there as it wasn't listed on Transcendent Physiology or in the search.

Well... guess I have to re-edit name of the article of mine that I've planned out, AGAIN. Should've been named as Monotheistic Trinity God Physiology.
Well again the reason I didn’t name of that is because they’re already is a monotheistic Deity page, and what I wanted to do was create something that was all encompassing opposed to standing out to one religion as yours reads. I mean no offense in that btw. Also again I had no idea that yours existed Because it wasn’t mentioned anywhere other than this blog that you had. If you want to add your ideas to the page I’ve created you’re more than welcome just keep in mind that I want the page named as it is and keep it all encompassing not just limited to one particular culture.
