Capabilities

Users of this ability can either mimic the traits of a Mikari Baba or are one, a Mikari Baba is a type of yokai-hag from Japanse folklore who resembles ugly old women with one eye, dressed in straw hats and coats with a burning torch clutched between their teeth - they travel during winter nights and scavenge nearby villages for anything they can find, being exceptionally greedy creatures.

Mikari Baba can bring misfortune and disease wherever they go and also have the secondary danger of starting fires when they lean down to steal items on the ground, often causing their torches to light up nearby structures and thus starting fires.

If all this wasn't enough, a Mikari Baba is also a malicious spirit and often collects human eyes, which they will greedily snatch just as they do anything else.
