Capabilities[]

The user either is or can become a mimic, a predatory creature that takes the form of an inanimate object, commonly a treasure chest, to lure in prey.

Limitations[]

  • Prey that are already aware of the existence of Mimics are going to be more cautious around the items they commonly disguise themselves as, making their trapping or ambushing less effective.
  • Any imperfections in their disguise might be detected by an experienced monster hunter.
