The power to use the abilities of Nanabozho. Variation of Native American Deity Physiology.

Also Called

  • Nanabozho Mimicry

Capabilities

User with this ability either is or can transform into Nanabozho, a Native American trickster deity traditionally known and seen as a culture hero by the Ojibwe tribe.

Nanabozho is described as either a humanoid hare or a man with rabbit features such as the characteristically large ears but he can transform into a full hare at will. Nanabozho is said to be a trickster deity and a nature spirit who has dominion over all animals in nature and is known to trick humans and Gods alike, especially those who seek to defile nature. Nanabozho is said to be the one to have planted all plant life on Earth, named all the animals and taught humanity the art of fishing and writing. Although Nanabozho has the reputation of being a trickster, he is also very wise and intelligent.

Nanabozho is a shapeshifter who takes on many forms such as a rabbit, a skunk, a porcupine, an old man and a child as well. Nanabozhu usually uses his abilities in his antics or when generally interacting with mortals. He can also transform others into animals and other things as well.
