After awakening its true nature, Kirito (Sword Art Online) was able to to use the "Night Sky Sword" to draw on and be empowered by anything and everything in existence.

Some users may be able draw sustenance from the elements or even slow or stop aging.

Hajun (Kajiri Kamui Kagura) draws power from Tumor, which leeches from the Throne to survive having it's existence discovered by Hajun, thus always increasing his power.

Habaki Sakagami (Kajiri Kamui Kagura) was able to draw power from the tumor due to him being the sensory.
