==Types==

Omnipotence is expressed in different ways in different universes with each specific ''Type of Omnipotence'' being fundamentally different, but are all generally the same power being recognized as something else in nature and concept.

'''Type 1''' - ''Absolute Omnipotence''; As in, nothing can challenge them, and they can literally do anything and everything, logic and causality be damned.

'''Type 2''' - ''True Omnipotence''; An omnipotent being. They can obliterate even logic and causality to achieve anything, but there are others of a specific nature who can do this as well specifically they're Anti-God version, if two such entities would go against each other, it can be a massive Mind Screw.

'''Type 3''' - ''Specialized Omnipotence''; Are users who are omnipotent within a field or concept, such an entity is basically an anthropomorphic personifications who are guaranteed to display this with the concept they embody especially when they embody absolutely everything.

'''Type 4''' - ''Raw Omnipotence''; Are omnipotent beings of pure and absolute power alone, therefore are beyond unlimited and infinite in every possible way and are able to achieve absolutely anything however they see fit with any kind of possibilities they could ever imagine with no consequences or backfiring whatsoever.

'''Type 5''' - ''Almightiness''; An entity who is "merely" an almighty being, whose power is far beyond any other in the setting making them omnipotent to grand degree beyond their own universe.

― Alan Watts
"I am the One Above All. I see through many eyes. I build with many hands. They are themselves, but they are also me. I am all-powerful. My only weapon is love. The mystery intrigues me."
― One-Above-All (Marvel Comics)

Capabilities

Omnipotence (from Latin: Omni Potens: "all power") is the almighty in every sense and aspect. The best way to understand it is the very principle of miracles, thus like a universal principle.

Principles of Omnipotence

Absolutely Everything; Omnipotence is the very act of doing absolutely anything. It is all power, top-level, absolute pinnacle and everything beyond them, existing above and beyond any other power and concept, without any effort.

To give an illustration, omnipotence is the description of everything, including every possible, impossible, beyond notions of infinity.

Omnipotence can do the impossible such as "bigger than infinity", "making a squared circle" or "transcending itself."

Only One; Suppose omnipotence splits into parts, each one of these omnipotent. Then as omnipotence is the doing of absolutely anything, any slightest opposition between each part will lead to successfully negating the doing, and hence the result is nothing happens until there is unity. But that is the same as one omnipotence, thus removing the distinction of splitting and not splitting omnipotence into multiples.

Notes

  • Beyond Omnipotence is Omnipotence
    • Omnipotence by definition is the absolute pinnacle.
    • If something were to beat omnipotence, then it was never omnipotent to begin with.
  • Omnipotence in Fiction
    • Strictly speaking, omnipotents in fiction often have human-like personalities, thus they are not omnipotent. However they are often the sole absolute almighty in their setting, thus they are close enough to represent omnipotence.
      • Though there are exceptions (e.g. Creator from Umineko)
    • It's one and only wielder (there can be only one in each fictional continuity, hence the "Above All") is fundamentally invincible, completely immune to all other powers, and able to defeat the combined might of all creation and its mightiest beings just by wanting it, without the slightest effort.
  • In Trans-Fictional Theories
    • If their are many Omnipotent beings in the multiverse then they would fundamentally be the same being, representing the individuality of their respective universe and unity of the infinite cosmos of other realities.
      • Thus being a more truer omnipotent being by universal concept and the principals of omnipotence.

Trivia

  • Omnipotent beings can only apply their power in their respective fiction.
  • Omnipotence can't be achieved via other powers or otherwise.
