"Look—humans can throw a 100 miles-per-hour fastball, smash concrete blocks with their heads, and run 4.2 forties. What they can't do is all of that at once. It's not so much physical as... as mentally impossible. Too much to coordinate."
― Batgirl #14 (May 2001)
"We rewired you all biochemically. Gave you ramped up immune and cell repair systems. All the Black Widows have it. Your wounds heal four, maybe five times as fast as a normal human's would. You hardly get sick, you don't age as fast...Your hair doesn't fall out, your skin can take wind and sun without damage. In essence, You are perfect."
― Dr. Lyudmila Kudrin about the Red Room's variant Super Soldier Serum with Natalia Romanova (Marvel Comics)

The state of possessing superhuman overall capabilities and attributes. Advanced version of Peak Human Condition. Combination of Enhanced Body, Soul and Mind.

Also Called[]

  • Advanced/Augmented/Heightened/Increased/Inhuman Condition
  • Beyond-Peak Human Condition
  • Near/Nigh/Semi-Supernatural Condition
  • Enhanced/Advanced/Augmented/Heightened/Increased/Inhuman Physiology

Capabilities[]

Users possess all their capabilities, attributes, and aspects at an advanced level, beyond that of the peak members of their own species. This means the user’s aspects (e.g., beauty, charisma, character, and physique) and attributes (e.g., physical, spiritual and mental condition) as well as capabilities (e.g., potential, feats, skills, and abilities, be they natural or supernatural) are beyond those of standard individuals.

In human terms, this entails that an enhanced human would have an improved mental, spiritual and physical condition, incredible judgment, knowledge, creativity, imagination, and other cognitive and brain-related abilities, as well as being able to lift weights and output strength that even the strongest weightlifters couldn’t hope to achieve, moving at speeds similar to that of cars and even subsonic speeds, being immune to nigh-fatal damage and harm, and performing at peak performance without tiring for long periods. Having a willpower that is extremely indomitable, and they have great intution in their spiritual attributes and may have higher awareness and concioussness. In conclusion, the user is an all-rounder who is superior overall to practically all other members of their species and almost all beings in their universe.

Applications[]

Techniques[]

Variations[]

Levels[]

  • Peak Human Condition: User is at the highest mental and physical condition that a human can reach within their universe.
  • Enhanced Condition: User's mental and physical condition is beyond the peak human limits of their universe, but not to high superhuman levels.
    • Type I: An extremely great mind, strong enough to lift small cars and bend metal, fast enough to move at/beyond the speed of automobiles, durable enough to withstand being thrown off tall buildings.
    • Type II: One of the greatest minds in their world, strong enough to lift heavy vehicles and punch through steel, fast enough to move at subsonic speeds, agile enough to leap over small buildings and dodge supersonic attacks, durable enough to withstand bullets, grenades and low-to-medium explosives.
  • Supernatural Condition: User's mental and physical condition is blatantly more powerful than other beings in their universe, reaching into high superhuman territory.
  • Absolute Condition: The ultimate type, the user has no limits to their mental and physical capabilities.

Associations[]

Limitations[]

  • Can be overpowered by users of Supernatural and Absolute Condition.
  • Abusive or neglectful superior may use the user's gift for their own desire, espically if the user is lower-rank than them
  • High standards may make it hard to relate to others, leading to a form of loneliness
  • User may develop a superiority complex which can lead to underestimating opponents
  • Self-esteem issues; live with the stigma of being “different" and stronger/faster/smarter than others
  • May include enhanced nutrition requirements
  • Some users may need a special Training Regimen to maintain their condition (or at least for their physical aspects)
  • Friends and allies themselves may find its hard to keep up with the user's superiority condition needs and training regimen
  • If the user uses Body Modification to gain enhanced condition, these special modifications may eventually cause body to deteriorate from side-effects (e.g. biological/physiology rejection, genetic abnormalities/mutation)
  • Because of the Plateau Effect, the user may reach the peak of their physical/mental limits and never improve beyond that
  • Like all Humans, the user will usually slow down and become less effective with age (starting in mid-30s or so, in most verses) unless they are an Old Prime or have some other superhuman ability to counter the aging process
