The ability to possess a personal technological device. Sub-power of Technology Manipulation and Personal Science. Variation of Personal Objects. Technique of Personal Mastery. Opposite to Personal Nature. Not to be confused with Mechanical Symbiosis or Symbiotic Technology Manipulation.
Also Called[]
- Personal Device/Tech
- Self-Tech/Technology Manipulation
Capabilities[]
The user can manipulate their own personal technological device. The apparatus can be any form or level of complexity: tools, weapons, machines, vehicles, substances, energy. Regardless of what exactly it looks like, the technology is bound to a particular user. The idiosyncratic relationship grants the holder a particular set of abilities and potential for skills unavailable to anyone else, as they either cannot attain it or utilize it the way the user can. Depending on how advanced the tech is, the effects rendered can range from personal enhancement to specialized attacks to affecting the surrounding environment or even the nature of existence itself.
Unlike Mechanical Symbiosis or Symbiotic Technology Manipulation, the personal technology is not required to be physically bound to the user nor does it have any sentience or life of its own.
